Duties and Responsibilities :Deliver a comprehensive HSEQ strategy for AES France, under the direction of the operations manager
Ensure that the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Management Systems are developed for Paris 2024 maintained, and continually improved
Responsible for compliance and audit, including ensuring appropriate resources and closure of actions.
Drive continual improvement and empower AES France team at all levels to reduce risk and foster a positive HSEQ culture at all levels while ensuring that potential impartiality and conflicts of interest are independently managed.
Advise the business with mechanisms for addressing risks, opportunities, impacts, compliance, and legal obligations relevant to the organization.
Embed awareness and ownership for safety and quality on site.
Develop and integrate best practices and drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continual improvement on site, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies and customer requirements.
Liaise and work closely with operational team.
Responsible for the preparation of PPSPS and all on site documentation required (DC4 etc..)
Recommend and guide about all required documentation for national and foreign on site crew/staff
Lead HSEQ related investigations of on site issues and present required actions for management decision making.
Perform continuous monitoring of Health and Safety compliance on site through observation of work activities and the analysis of audits and provide reports.
Prepare and produce regular metrics and reports on the performance of the H&S, environmental and quality management systems.
Champion actions to deliver a continuous reduction in the number of accidents, incidents and work-related health issues through delivery of root cause analysis and problem solving.
Facilitate corporate learning, drive reviews and ensure root causes are identified and addressed in all incidents and events.
Design and integrate HSEQ training program for employees.

Technical
A sound working knowledge of project management, CDM and Quality systems.
Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety / Safety Engineering or Environmental.
Proven ability to implement change and a record of achievements in improving compliance and reducing error.
Experience, skill, and accuracy in developing clear processes and drafting high quality procedural documents.
French and English
